From your scenic flight into the Serengeti to your final morning on the plains, each day has been thoughtfully paced to bring you closer to the landscape and its wildlife. Enjoy private game drives, meaningful encounters and the freedom to explore without feeling hurried. The itinerary below shows how your journey may unfold, while leaving room for the unexpected moments that make every safari unique.
FROM ARUSHA TO THE WILD HEART OF THE SERENGETI
DAY 01
Your Tanzania safari begins in Arusha, where you will be warmly met and assisted with your scheduled light-aircraft flight to the Serengeti. As the aircraft rises above northern Tanzania, the scenery gradually changes from cultivated highlands and scattered settlements to the immense, untamed plains of the national park.
Upon landing at the Serengeti airstrip, your private guide will be waiting to welcome you. There is no need to postpone the adventure your first game drive begins from the moment you leave the runway. Travel slowly towards your camp while searching the surrounding grasslands for elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and the predators that follow them.
After arriving at your lodge or tented camp, settle into the peaceful rhythm of the wilderness. Depending on your arrival time, you may continue exploring during the golden afternoon hours before returning for dinner and your first night beneath the Serengeti sky.

DAY 02
EXPLORING THE ENDLESS PLAINS
Wake to the natural sounds of the Serengeti and prepare for an early morning game drive. The cooler hours after sunrise are especially rewarding, as predators may still be active and grazing animals begin moving across the plains.
Your private guide will read fresh tracks, interpret animal behaviour and share an intimate understanding of the landscape. Rather than following a rigid schedule, the day will be shaped by wildlife activity and your interests. You may pause beside a pride of lions, follow a herd of elephants or remain quietly near a cheetah scanning the grasslands.
Choose to return to camp for lunch and a relaxed afternoon or carry a picnic and explore farther into the park. As the sun begins to descend, the Serengeti takes on a softer golden colour creating beautiful conditions for photography and memorable final sightings before returning to camp.
Enjoy dinner and a peaceful evening surrounded by the sounds of the African night.

THE SERENGETI AT YOUR OWN PACE
DAY 03
Today is dedicated to experiencing the Serengeti more deeply. Your guide may take you into a different area of the park, return to a rewarding location from the previous day or follow reports of interesting wildlife activity.
Every journey through the Serengeti is different. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds moving across the plains, newborn animals taking their first steps or dramatic interactions between predators and prey.
Alongside the famous wildlife, your guide will also introduce you to the park’s smaller details from colourful birdlife and animal tracks to the plants that support this extraordinary ecosystem.
For an unforgettable perspective, an optional sunrise balloon safari can be arranged at an additional cost. Drift silently above the plains as daylight spreads across the landscape, followed by a special breakfast in the bush.
Continue exploring during the afternoon before returning to camp for your final Serengeti sunset. This is a time to slow down, reflect on the journey and enjoy one last evening in the wilderness.

DAY 04
A FINAL MORNING IN THE WILD
Begin your final day with breakfast at camp or an early morning game drive, depending on your scheduled departure time. The journey to the airstrip remains part of the safari, offering another opportunity to encounter wildlife and absorb the vast beauty of the Serengeti.
After saying farewell to your guide, board your scheduled light aircraft for the flight back to Arusha. From above, watch the plains slowly disappear beneath you as you carry home memories of remarkable wildlife encounters and quiet moments in the wild.
Upon arrival in Arusha, a Gepard representative will meet you and assist with your onward arrangements. You may transfer to your hotel, connect with an international departure or continue to Zanzibar for a relaxing extension beside the Indian Ocean.
Your four-day safari may be brief, but the Serengeti has a way of remaining with you long after the journey ends.
